building a community of interest and practice in service design
The service design network put on a service design tools and methods workshop on Wednesday April the 18th and what an awesome turn out we got! RMIT’s building 88 was used in Elizabeth Street which is usually inhabited by the industrial design department. I was good to see so many students there. Along with all of the fresh faces we had the usual suspects attend and some groups from industry. All in all lots of laughter was had, tools learnt and hopefully more friendships and networks formed.
Mark and Harriett lead the night with tools such as personas, customer journey maps and touch point identification. It was interesting buzzing around the tables listening to the conversations, most of us got really carried away with developing our personas and journey maps but it made for a totally entertaining show and tell at the end.
Thank you to Mark and Harriett for leading the night and Yoko and the SDN committee members for organising.
