Profile Information

Tell us about yourself
I am an urbanist and behaviour change consultant with a focus on the human, social and cultural capital of cities. I have a particular interest in the sensory experience of urban environments – the visual, the sound, the smell, the texture, and the taste of urban spaces. My work questions how this experience influences our behaviour, our perceptions and our use of public spaces, and whether we feel invited to engage with the urban realm on foot or bicycle or in enclosed spaces such as cars.

I study the collective consciousness of the citizenry as cities undertake the journey towards becoming sustainable, liveable and healthy. I work with urban managers and problem solvers to develop behavioural adaptation strategies and interventions to build capacity for the social and physical change of cities.
Why are you interested in service design?
I am interested in design thinking and human centred design as an approach for behaviour change.
Profession
Urbanist, Behaviour Change Consultant, Design Thinker
