Tell us about yourself: I have worked as a research consultant at RMIT for past 8 years on primarily qualitative research for all levels of government and also private sector clients. As part of that role I've been an active member of the Beyond Behaviour Change research team at RMIT developing, costing and delivering projects.

Why are you interested in service design?: I am interested in the cross over between program design and evaluation, marketing, service design and action research (and all the other areas that relate to creating environmental and social innovation projects). I'm also interested in the opportunities a tightly defined term 'service design' brings in communicating with stakeholders and potential funders. I think service design as a named concept is exciting as it enables a series of academic concepts to be drawn upon to operationalise and create purposive change.
