When BusinessWeek declared "The MFA is the new MBA," the business world started engaging with the design world to an unprecedented degree. However, these are (traditionally) two very different worlds that aren't bridged easily.
What do designers need to know about their business peers (marketing, operations, finance, etc.) in order to have the influence over strategy and customers experience they crave? And, what do business people need to know about design in order to truly innovate better products, services, and experiences?
Nathan Shedroff started the first MBA program in a design school after researching the needed skills design thinking brings to business and the important processes and understandings that business brings to design.
Free public lecture - Event details and bookings can be made at http://booster2012lecture.eventbrite.com.au/
